Editor's Note - February 4th 2012 - Family Matters
The shortest month of the year is jam-packed with festivity, as we lead up to Carnival at month-end. This year I'm thinking about escaping to Tobago for the big weekend. I spent years in Woodbrook in the heart of mas-making action with Lil and Edmund Hart on the upper end of my block, Glen Carvalho on the next street, Peter Samuel round the way, Wayne Berkeley not too far...

1. CHOICE
Establish rules that are appropriate for your family. Decide how much time can be spent watching TV and what shows are appropriate. Use the TV Ratings to help determine what is appropriate for your children. All TV programming except news, sports, and some Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rated movies have a rating that appear in listings and in the upper left corner of the screen at the beginning of each program.

Cutest Valentine's Pipe Cleaner Ring!
To create these adorable rings start out with 4 and a half pipe cleaners. 3 for the petals, one for the leaves and one half for the center.
Take the 3 for the petals and twist them twice in the center so they look like cat whiskers.
Then put them on the finger you will be wearing it on and loosely twist to make a ring. Make this a little big because the rind will tighten after it's been made.
Separate the petals evenly.
Now pinch it together at ...
