About Macaroni Kid Trinidad Edition

Who is Macaroni Kid Trinidad?

Macaroni Kid Trinidad is operated by Nicole Greene.

I am a Blogging Mom who writes on Parenting, Children's Special Needs Awareness, and Social Responsibility using Technology.

I had a desire to put my social media experience to work to serve the local market, and teaming up with Macaroni Kid provided me with the opportunity to do just that.

Why Macaroni Kid Trinidad?

First and foremost Macaroni Kid Trinidad is a conscious effort in celebrating Trinidad.

My goal is to re-introduce parents and children to the wonder T&T has to offer. From Nature & History, to Literature and the Arts... Introductions to Institutes and People of Passion... I aim to provide a reflection for our children so that they can go on to forge a strong future for us.

Each week we list family friendly activities and events throughout T&T. The intention is to provide families with opportunities to bond and re-forge family ties. The Macaroni Kid tag line is "entertain, stimulate and exhaust your kids..." :-)

In the first newsletter of each month, we feature a "Road Trip". A suggestion for family outings, in and around T&T.

The second newsletter of the month features a "Trini with a Passion" - an interview with a Trinbagonian who has followed their passion and turned it into a career, and is committed to serving our National Community.

The third newsletter of the month features the West Indian Book Club - highlighting local or regional Literature. This is an homage to my own Mother, who encouraged in me a love of reading, without which I could not be here today.

The fourth newsletter of the month features our Children's Writing Contest with prizes donated by Mario's Pizza and Genesis Comics.

About Macaroni Kid

Macaroni Kid and its family of Publisher Moms are dedicated to delivering the scoop on all the family-friendly events and activities happening in their communities each week. Check out Macaroni Kid’s list of communities and sign up to receive your free weekly newsletter.

It all started with two old friends sharing a good meal and a great bottle of wine. From that conversation, Macaroni Kid was born and Joyce and Nicki started publishing a weekly newsletter giving moms and dads the scoop on all the weekly events in their community. From there it’s grown to dozens of other communities across the Country.

We hope you enjoy it.
